Rental Requirements and General Qualifications

Give us a call at (713) 379-2390 and we’ll send our free shuttle to come pick you up.

Additional drivers must be at least 25 years of age and present a valid driver’s license, which may be verified for authenticity. The additional driver fee is $10.00 per day, per driver. Additional driver fees are subject to change without prior notice.

Vehicles returned outside of business hours will remain on rent until the next business day. Additional rental charges may apply.

Renters must provide proof of transferable full coverage auto insurance, including comprehensive and collision coverage, or purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) at the rental counter.
Third-party liability coverage alone is not accepted, except for qualifying non-local renters traveling with a round-trip flight itinerary.
Renters under the age of 25 must provide qualifying transferable insurance coverage.
Non-standard insurance providers are not accepted.
Third-party travel insurance coverages are not accepted for local renters.
Optional rental protection products may be purchased at the counter by qualifying renters.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) relieves the renter and authorized drivers of financial responsibility for loss of or damage to the rental vehicle, provided all terms and conditions of the rental agreement are followed.
Customers must accept or decline CDW and other optional products at the rental counter.
CDW and optional products are taxable.
Once purchased, CDW cannot be removed from the rental agreement. The customer may close the rental agreement and initiate a new rental; however, different rates may apply.
If CDW is declined, the renter may be held financially responsible for: collision damage, glass damage, theft of the vehicle; theft of vehicle components or accessories, vandalism, and loss of use while the vehicle is being repaired or until it is recovered after theft.

Vehicles must remain within the state in which they were rented. Louisiana is the only exception, unless prior written authorization is obtained from the rental location before vehicle pickup.
Unauthorized travel outside the permitted area may result in an out-of-state fee of up to $1,000.00 USD, in addition to any other applicable charges.

A valid credit card in the renter’s name is required at the time of rental.
An authorization hold may be placed for the estimated rental charges and applicable security deposit.
The minimum credit card security deposit for non-local renters arriving by air is $100.00 USD. Proof of a round-trip airline itinerary may be required at the time of pickup.
The amount of the authorization hold varies based on the vehicle type, payment method, and renter qualifications.
Authorization holds are not charges; however, the funds will be unavailable for use during the rental period and may take several business days to be released after the vehicle is returned, depending on your financial institution.
Prepaid cards and gift cards are not accepted.
Priceless reserves the right to request additional identification and refuse service if rental qualifications are not met.

A valid debit card in the renter’s name may be accepted at the time of rental.
Airport renters must provide proof of a round-trip airline itinerary that matches the rental period.
Renters may be subject to a credit screening to verify creditworthiness prior to vehicle release. If the renter’s Equifax credit file is frozen, the restriction must be removed before processing the rental. Removal of the freeze does not guarantee approval.
An authorization hold may be placed for the estimated rental charges and applicable security deposit.
The minimum debit card security deposit for non-local renters arriving by air is $250.00 USD.
The amount of the authorization hold varies based on the vehicle type, payment method, and renter qualifications.
Authorization holds are not charges and may take several business days to be released after the vehicle is returned, subject to your financial institution’s processing times.
Prepaid cards and gift cards are not accepted.

Documents must display the same address listed on the renter’s driver’s license.
The minimum security deposit for local renters is $250.00 USD when using a credit card and $350.00 USD when using a debit card.
Security deposits are in addition to the estimated rental charges and will be held as an authorization.
Prepaid cards and gift cards are not accepted.
All local renters must provide proof of full coverage insurance that extends to rental vehicles.
If qualifying insurance coverage is unavailable, eligible renters may purchase rental protection at the counter.
Additional qualifications, restrictions, and conditions may apply and will be disclosed at the time of rental.
Please Note: Third-party travel insurance coverages are not accepted for local renters. Rental protection may be purchased at the time of pickup by qualifying renters.

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same fuel level.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than when it was rented, refueling charges will apply.
Customers may choose to purchase a prepaid fuel option at the beginning of the rental. If selected, no refueling charge will apply; however, unused fuel is non-refundable.

All renters and authorized drivers must present a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
The minimum age to rent is 25 years old.
Renters must possess a valid driver’s license and a major credit card in their own name.
Certain vehicle classes may require drivers to be 25 years of age or older.
Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 must provide proof of transferable full coverage insurance, including comprehensive and collision coverage. If qualifying coverage is not available, full coverage protection may be purchased at the counter.
Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 may be subject to a higher security deposit and an underage surcharge of $25.00 per day.
Priceless reserves the right to refuse a rental based on driving history or failure to meet rental qualifications.

A local renter is defined as any renter whose driver’s license address is located within the local or surrounding area of the rental location, or who resides in the same state where the vehicle is being rented.
Local renters are subject to additional qualification requirements, which may include verification of personal information such as residential address, telephone number, and employment.
Supporting documentation may include: current utility bill, recent bank statement, recent pay stub, etc.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING USING TOLLWAYS:
All of our rental cars are equipped with EZPASS/IPASS stickers, Renters are NOT permitted to use their own toll pass transponder or pay for tolls on their own. we provide the option of Unlimited Toll option for $15/day or $5/toll incurred plus the toll cost incurred.
We implemented this policy to eliminate Toll violations and save you money on missed tolls. please note you will only get changed if you use the tollways, if you avoid using the tollways there will be not charge to you!

$350.00 min* deposit plus rental cost is required, Debit only accepted with a confirmed round trip flight itinerary that match duration of rental, one way flights are not accepted. Local residents must provide utility bill "Electric, Gas, Water" must be within the last 30 days, not past due, name and address must match renter's driver's license.

Restrictions may vary from time to time depending on availability; check with local branch agents for up-to-date restrictions on rental days.
*Debit card deposit may vary from $350-$1,000. limited to Compact, Economy, Full-size, or Minivans.*
Local Chicagoland Renters living further than 10miles from the local branch may not qualify to rent from us. Please call 224-781-2000 to speak to a counter agent prior to booking, as rules and restrictions are subject to change without notice.

Grace Period
Rental charges are based on a 24-hour period and include a 29-minute grace period.
If the vehicle is returned after the grace period expires, additional charges will apply beginning from the first minute past the grace period.

Parking and Traffic Violations
Renters are responsible for all parking citations, traffic violations, and related penalties incurred during the rental period.
In addition to the applicable fines, an administrative processing fee of up to $99.00 USD per violation may be charged. These charges will be billed to the payment method used for the rental transaction.
